  This is the worst Banfield that I have ever used in my dogs 12 years of life. Unfortunately our dog passed today and instead of customer service and empathy as we rushed our dog that was not breathing to Banfield (where we had sought treatment previously) the receptionist was on a personal call and told "Micheal" that she would have to call him back because there "might" be an emergency. Then proceeded to tell us let me see "if" the doctor can see the dog though we clearly expressed as we walked in that the dog was not breathing. Finally our dog is taken back and my sister is escorted to a room only for the doctor to come in and share in a matter of fact way that "I'm sorry but your sorry but your dog passed" and quickly proceeded to " so would you like to have a paw print or keep her ashes" no moment to absorb that we have lost a beloved member of our family. (Until we asked for a minute) No explanation of exactly what happens and what our options are. I then ask how long they can keep her while we talk to my mom (who had just gone to the hospital the night before) and decide our next steps so that she is prepared and aware they tell me the most they can offer me is an hour or two make a decision. She stated "we cared for her too but unfortunately there is also the business side of it too.." We didn't disagree that things have to be handled expeditiously but there is a way to handle it. We contacted Bay Area Veterinary and the first thing they expressed was GENUINE concern for our loss. Said my mom could have time to get to there office later today to see KC one last time before being put to rest and were extremely loving and considerate when they received her. I would recommend Bay Area to anyone who has a pet. I would NEVER take my pet or anything else I cared for to Banfield Silverlake in Pearland. If I could give no stars I would and this is not just grief talking.

  THEIR CLINICAL SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! NEVER GO THERE!!! NO SERVICE PROVIDED EVEN WITH THE RISK OF MY DOG DYING!!! and this is why: Today Jan 4th 2017 - My dog was out of an emergency clinic about 7:45 am after spending the night there due to rat poisoning (had to take it out of the clinging because they close at 8:00 am) and she was under observation. The veterinarian from the emergency clinic provided recommendations for continuing observation that my dog needed to finish cleansing her body from the poison (as recommended also by Animal Poison Control). We took the dog into Banfield Silverlake Village at 8:00 am and at 11:00 am they had not done anything whatsoever to the dog. None of the recommendations were followed. With still the risk of from the poison. So we took her out of there and put her in another clinic.
